The main and most common form of getting to the Hornstrandir Nature Reserve is by boat or sea taxi from the towns of Ísafjörður, Bolungarvík or Norðurfjörður with Ísafjörður being by far the most common.
These boat services run between June and August and drop off or collect people from 6 main desinations on the reserve:
